We at Hashtag Dance first knew James as one of our own dance students who regularly attended our fitness and choreography classes. Through a mutual friend, we got our first glimpse of James’ work during the BOW event in 2025, and we were genuinely blown away by the quality of the still shots. In early 2026, while preparing for an important dance competition audition, we needed a professionally shot dance video submission and invited James to work with us. What stood out immediately was not just his talent, but his patience, professionalism, and eye for detail throughout the entire 1.5-hour shoot.

James has an exceptional understanding of camera angles, lighting, exposure, motion capture, and composition, all of which are critical when filming dance performances. Capturing fast-moving choreography without losing clarity or emotion isn't easy, but he shot 5 extremely crisp, clean, cinematic videos that truly elevated our performance presentation. Those videos ultimately helped us get shortlisted for the competition. What impressed us even more was that this was his very first dance video shoot, something we could hardly believe given the final output.

Since then, James and Static eMotion have become our first point of contact for both photography and videography projects. His remarkable work was also clearly visible during recent Holi and MLC events, where he once again demonstrated an incredible ability to capture energy, color, emotion, and storytelling through both stills and video.
